Deep Deep River – Americana Songs

I started writing songs on the guitar in my early 20s. Some songs got recorded and some just got forgotten. Eventually, becoming tired of my songs as they were too personal, I stopped writing them. Years later I woke up one night and played the song Deep Deep River. The words, the chords, and the melody all came out as if I'd been playing it all my life. Since then I've written a bunch more songs and haven't gotten tired of them.
